Born Material operates at the intersection of design and environmental responsibility. We develop specialized processes to convert plastic waste into refined panels for design applications. Our manufacturing model focuses on keeping plastic waste within a circular loop, preventing it from entering landfills or natural ecosystems. By prioritizing material purity and technical consistency, we provide sustainable alternatives that meet the rigorous demands of the global design industry.
01
Volume Reduction
Converting one ton of plastic waste into structural panels provides a 99% reduction in physical waste volume.
02
CO2 Emission Advantage
Manufacturing one ton of our panels saves approximately 1.5 tons of CO2 emissions compared to conventional surface production.
03
Material Efficiency
Recycled polystyrene panels demonstrate a significantly lower Global Warming Potential compared to both virgin resins and traditional acrylic based surface materials.
04
Post-Consumer Circularity
Every panel we manufacture remains 100% recyclable at the end of its life cycle to be reprocessed into new material streams.
Our manufacturing facility in Izmir, Türkiye handles the entire production cycle from raw waste processing to final surface finishing. This localized and controlled approach allows us to maintain high quality standards while significantly reducing our logistical carbon footprint. By choosing Born Material, clients and brands directly contribute to a more sustainable and transparent industrial supply chain.
